In a night with plenty of food choices thanks to Tecoz Australia and Tierra Nueva, Daniela Bravo and Diego Ponne brought the tequeños home, a courtesy of Tecoz Australia, after winning the 4th tournament of the 2013 LADA Championsip. Bravo & Ponne finished off the night with a convincing record of 5 wins-1 loss and 212 net points
After winning the tournament Daniela Bravo ended up a 4 year drought.Tonight's was her first tournament win since 2009. Her "partner-in-crime" Diego Ponne, got his maiden 1st place trophy to become the 32nd tournament champion in LADA history.
Alexis Petit and Domenic Inglese were the tournament's runners up after fighting their way up all night but being beaten by the champions in the last match. Petit and Inglese finished their night with a solid record of 4 wins 2 losses and 199 points
The third place was for the debutants of the night, Juan Jose Denis and Jose Williams Ramirez. After losing 2 out of their first three matches of the tournament, Denis and Ramirez never looked back to finish off the night with a very good record of 4 wins 2 losses and 73 net points, after posting a perfect second half of the tournament winning all their matches in their way to get the "bronze" medal.
In an editor's note, The LADA committee on behalf of our members and friends wishes to thank Tierra Nueva and Tecoz Australia for their unconditional support to the tournaments and other activities of LADA.
Next tournament, the 5th of the 2013 LADA Championship, will be an Individual tournament and will take place on Friday, 6 September. The tournament is set to start at 7.00pm
