2013 LADA Championship - 5th Tournament 6 September 2013
A good way to summarise what happened in the 5th Tournament of the 2013 LADA Championship would be by using a Bob the Builder kind of quote; "Can we beat her?, No we can't". Well, this is what happened with Carolina Kondrat when she became the eight unbeaten individual tournament winner in LADA's history after posting an impressive record of 6-0, 359
After winning the tournament in a very convincing fashion, Carolina also went home with prizes courtesy of the LADA sponsors of the night; Tecoz Australia and Avila Bakery. Runner Up was for Juan Pufleau who wrapped up the night with a record of 5-0, 159. Third Place was for Saul Zavarce who played for a convincing 4-2, 214
Next tournament valid for the 2013 LADA Championship will take place on Friday 11 October and it will be fixed team tournament.
With two tournaments to go, Marco Barone (19-5, 874) is still at the top of the ladder but now he is followed by Annina Lapadula (20-10, 339) and Saul Zavarce (19-11, 599) in second and third place respectively. With Alexis Petit (12-6, 439) and Fernando Inglese (12-6, 330), not eligible for the ladder at this stage but still in the hunt for the title anything can happen.
